Originally founded in 1901, the Brome Lake Boating Club is one of the oldest sporting clubs in the Eastern Townships.  Since its beginning, the club has acted as a home away from home for hundreds of members during their summers in the Brome Lake region.

From the months of May to early October, the club facilitates a variety of outdoor sports for individuals of all ages, including sailing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and tennis.  During the busiest summer months, one can also participate in the various events and activities taking place at the club, including an array of tennis tournaments and adult tennis clinics, adult sailing clinics, Saturday sailing regattas, a challenging but rewarding swim to Eagle Island, yoga classes, Tuesday night BBQ’s and the annual, family-oriented, kayak-canoe-swim regatta.  Furthermore, over the past decade, a day camp, sailing camp, and tennis camp have been initiated for children between the ages of three and 16, hosting up to 60 youngsters at a time.  Whether one is looking to relax with a book by the water or play a rousing game of tennis with friends, the Brome Lake Boating Club has something for everyone.
