Sailing Camp for Girls

The Brome Lake Boating Club is proud to announce the first edition of the 100% Female Sailing Camp! The camp will take place from August 19 to 23 and is aimed at young sailors who are eligible for women’s division sailing*, ages 8 to 13.

This camp is open to all abilities, from beginner to advanced, with no prerequisites necessary. Our goal is to inspire girls to take up the sport of sailing, have fun, and build friendships. If you’re 14 or over and interested in sailing, contact us at manager@clublacbrome.com! We’re sure to have a place or a role for you.

The Voile au Féminin project is founded on the conviction that sailing is a genuine source of liberation, enjoyment, and personal fulfillment. The feeling of freedom, gliding, and riding the waves are all unique sensations that sailing offers. By actively promoting inclusion and offering equitable opportunities for access to sailing, we aspire to create a sailing community that is diverse, dynamic, and truly representative of the Quebec population.

La Voile au Féminin is an initiative of the BLBC. This project is made possible by grants from Sail Canada, Quebec Sport, Égale Action, and the Quebec Sailing Federation. Check out the article written about this initiative on the Égale Action blog (in French only).
